Mud Madness Sheffield

Mud Madness Sheffield takes place at Hesley Wood Activity Centre, very close to M1 junctions 35 and 35a on Saturday 13th of November 2021.  When you register you will receive your race number and your Mud Madness technical t-shirt.

Mud Madness

This event will take place on Saturday 13th November 2021 with a start time TBC. This event is for those aged 17+. All competitors taking part in Mud Madness event must be aged 17 or over on the day of the race and you may be asked by registration staff to present Photo ID as proof of age on the day. Mud Madness will be a circa 6km route that takes participants over, under and through various obstacles, some man made and some that are just naturally very muddy and very wet.

Family Mud Madness

This event will take place on Saturday 13th November 2021 with a start time TBC. This event is for those aged 11+. All competitors taking part in Family Mud Madness 3km event must be aged 11 or over on the day of the race. You may be asked by registration staff to present Photo ID as proof of age on the day. Family Mud Madness will be on a shorter circa 3km version of the full course with a lower age allowed so the whole family or groups of friends can take part together. There will be several obstacles which will be suitable and safe in relation to the age of the participants. Parents will be able to follow their child where able, but no assistance will be permitted during the event. Marshals will be positioned throughout the course to assist if required.

Event Charity

Mud Madness Sheffield is a commercial event that partners with Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice as the official charity partner to offer an opportunity for the charity to raise funds whilst people are having fun and challenging themselves. Together we encourage participants to raise as much money as possible in support of the event to fund the care and support of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice for terminally ill children and their families. 

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice cares for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions. They currently support around 250 families, both at their hospice and in family homes, and offer music therapy, counselling, sibling support, end of life care, and more. Bluebell Wood are there for the whole family, whether they have days, weeks, months or years left together, and in just one year they have provided more than 50,000 hours of care filled with lots of love and laughter.
